Description
Each drawer is equipped with a lock with brass escutcheon and 6 brass handles.
The top and drawers of this antique English chest of drawers are inlaid with fruit wood
within ebonized threads that highlight the chromatic contrast.
In the lower band, under the drawers, this small period commode, of English origin,
built around 1870, it is decorated with valances, shaped bands placed between the elegant saber feet.
the sliding of the drawers has been overhauled,
restored the minimal lacks of the slab and has been cleaned and finished with a polishing
with natural shellac and wax that enhances the chromatism of the essences.
The discreet and contained dimensions, the Victorian style with a linear and elegant design,
make this small antique chest of drawers versatile and very current placement in contemporary interiors,
both classic and modern.
